Making a meal at a women’s homeless shelter

Proposals

  • Preserve existing affordable housing units and also add more
  • Advocate for additional property tax vouchers for seniors, residents on fixed income
  • Ensure new developers incorporate affordable housing units on-site versus opting out by paying into the Low Income Housing Trust Fund
  • Provide larger, multi-bedroom units that will give residents the opportunity to raise their families in the ward
